With Connect GO Read Only API you can monitor & analyze most of Sita Connect Go ecosystem in a programmatic way.

In particular to access Sita ConnectGO SDWAN API , you will need to create an account on SITA Developer Portal: Create new account | SITA (developer.aero)

Key Identifiers
The Tenant ID (UUID) serves as the primary identifier for all API interactions, replacing the traditional tenant name. Similarly, Applications, Sites, and Regions are typically identified by their respective UUIDs.
CMDB Population Strategy
We recommend leveraging the 'Information and Status' APIs to populate your Configuration Management Database (CMDB). These APIs provide crucial insights into the relationships between various SD-WAN components:
- Regions
- Sites defined in Region
- Appliances within Sites
Each of these components is assigned a unique UUID for consistent identification.
SD-WAN Topology Overview
The SD-WAN infrastructure follows a hierarchical structure:
- Region: Each region is equipped with two Gateway Appliances.
- Site and appliances
- Belongs to a specific Region
- Contains either one or two appliances (2 for High Availability deployments)
- In a Spoke-Hub-Spoke topology, sites maintain direct tunnels exclusively to the Gateway
Ongoing Monitoring
Regular API calls can be utilized to fetch critical performance metrics, including:
- Service Level Agreement (SLA) data
- Top Applications at the SD-WAN level
- Overlay Usage, and Direct Internet Access Usage
- LAN and WAN Interface usage
By integrating these API-driven insights into your CMDB, you can maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive view of your SD-WAN environment, facilitating effective management and decision-making.
