Terms Definitions
adi Short notation for ArrivalDeparture.
ArrivalDeparture Typically denotes whether the flight record is for the arrival or departure city.
Code Share A commercial agreement between two airlines that allows an airline to put its two-letter identification code on the flights of another airline as they appear in computerized reservations systems. One or more airlines may code share with the operating carrier of the flight.
FLIFO Flight Information
Flight Record The container in which the flight information is returned.
Marketing Carrier An airline which publishes and markets a flight under its own airline designator and flight number as part of its published timetable or schedule.
Operating Carrier The airline operating the flight.
