API Mashup Powers New Baggage Application for Malaysia Airlines

Armed with iPads, Malaysia Airlines agents at Kuala Lumpur International can now provide proactive assistance to passengers with lost or delayed baggage by checking the status of the missing bag, filing a report for a delayed or lost bag, and printing the passenger a receipt.

The new MHBag application is the result of a successful mashup of SITA APIs and scanning technologies and is halving the average processing time for mishandled bag claims.
