Airport API

The Airport API is used to retrieve information about global airports.

The API enables you to:

  1. List all major IATA Airports.
  2. Get specific details about an airport using an IATA code.

    The Airport API will return the following information:
    • Full Airport Name
    • City/Country
    • Longitude/Latitude
    • Time Zone
  3. Get a list of airports matching a given name or code.
  4. Get the distance between two airports
  5. Find airports nearest a given latitude/longitude

XML or JSON ?

The default response type is JSON. To return the response in XML, set the HTTP Header Accept to application/xml.
