Airport API

The Airport API is a 'Hello World' API to let you see how to register, get application keys, use the Live Docs, and view your API usage. The API itself can be used to retrieve information about airports.

The API enables you to:
  1. List all major IATA Airports.
  2. Get specific details about an airport using an IATA code.

The Airport API will return the following information:

    • Full Airport Name
    • City/Country
    • Longitude/Latitude
    • Time Zone
  3. Get a list of airports matching a given name or code.
  4. Get the distance between two airports
  5. Find airports nearest a given latitude/longitude

Sample API Usage:

curl "https://airport.api.aero/airport/ORK?user_key=[Get Your Key]"
